Scott Soucy is a director in the business advisory services group at Kaufman Rossin. Previously, he was partner of a large local CPA firm based in the Midwest. He oversaw and led the group’s operations and business development efforts, specializing in financial and operational due diligence on behalf of private equity and other investors, providing merger and acquisition advisory services on both buy and sell side transactions, and serving as an external chief financial and operating officer and strategic advisor to a variety of closely held companies. He was also responsible for the development and launch of a full-service, cloud-based outsourced accounting and finance business.

Scott’s background includes experience in accounting, finance, investment banking and partnership taxation as well as financial, operational and administrative management. He has worked extensively with closely held businesses in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, financial modeling, corporate finance, capital planning, cash flow forecasting, systems implementation management and international business. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer for a heavy-industrial manufacturing company and a start-up medical device manufacture with overseas production facilities.

Scott is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as well as the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).

He is currently a member of the Intuit Accountant and Advisory Council. He was also on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Gateway Chapter. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from St. Louis University.
