Jim Nolte recently retired as Senior Vice President of Sales for Zayo Group (NYSE: ZAYO) a $2B Communications Infrastructure provider started in 2007 whose services include fiber and bandwidth connectivity, colocation and cloud services to the world’s leading businesses.

In his role, Jim built and developed high performing sales teams organically as well as through post-acquisition integration.   And as an early member of the executive team, he was with his colleagues on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange the day they took their enterprise public in 2014.

Based in New York city, he was responsible for developing strategy and managing all aspects of sales and customer relations serving more than 2,000 world class business customers.  His tenured, high-powered teams focused on providing mission-critical infrastructure to many of the Fortune 100 enterprises in the financial services, content/media, healthcare and telecommunications industries including Goldman Sachs, NYSE, NBA, Time Warner, NY Presbyterian Hospital and Comcast.

Prior to Zayo, Jim served as Vice President of Sales for AGL Networks, where he led his team in making it among the fastest growing business units in the enterprise. Before joining AGL in 2004, he was the southeast region sales leader for ICG Communications. Mr. Nolte started his career at AT&T where he served in various strategy, sales and account management roles.

Mr. Nolte and his wife Laura relocated to Naples, Florida in April 2016 from New York city where they had lived for the last 5 years.  He is a graduate of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he earned a Masters of Business Administration in 1999.
